Amp It Up- Smokey Rocker Eye Upper Crease Color

Another quick way to switch up the basic rocker eye. Just adds a little bit of color & dimension. You can go with a darker purple or blue to keep it pretty simple or use a brighter shade to make it more vibrant. I went with a  purple to match my outfit (not the best idea for filming, now that I think about it) & it blends in really well with the greys, just adding a bit of definition.
I went over this fairly quickly (since I was getting ready to go out). You can take this color as high or low as you want. I put it up over the color on my outer corner & blended the grey into it. If you don't want that much color, you can just put it on the inner portion & blend the grey on the outer corner.
I would suggest using a separate blending brush for your greys if you are using a brighter color & then just using the brush from the bright color to blend a little.

Love It Or Ditch It- Collective Review/Haul (March 2011)

Just some quick reviews on my collective purchases & free gifts from March!
I have found so many great products this month that I am really excited about!

You can really get some great deals & special gifts if you join discount programs & watch your sales for certain stores. I almost exclusively shop sale items & have really found some great items this way. When you are getting something for 1/2 price it makes it much more wallet friendly to try something new. Also watch for free gifts (always remember to ask for free gifts because sales people rarely remember to give them to you) Sometimes it may not be the exact thing that you want but, it can give you an opportunity to try something out & see if you're interested in purchasing it. Box sets are another way of trying many different products & seeing what you think about them. If you only end up liking one or two things from it, you can return the box set & just buy those things.

Urban Decay Fun Palette Look

This look uses every shade in the new Urban Decay Fun Palette & nothing else! This palette is much more a collection of colors that you can use to liven up a look then a collection that you can use on it's own. Uzi is a difficult shade to work with & I'm not too sure how I am going to make it work with the looks I normally do. Essence make a shadow that is similar but works much better called Stardust (it will be in my March review/haul). Woodstock is not as pigmented as I would like it to be either & I think that there are much better choices out there.
I like this palette but, I don't think that it will be something I can't live without.

Products Used:
Urban Decay Fun Palette & Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Sephora Smudge Brush
Studio Tools Crease Brush

it is my absolute favorite for brushing away fallout)

ELF Small Angled Brush
I hope you enjoyed this disco inspired look!

Sally Girl Sparkle Effects Glitter Update

I just wanted to give you girls a little update on this glitter.

I have been using this glitter for quite some time & have always loved it. It was just as good as many of the more expensive ones at $1 each. Plus you got a ton. They had a good range of colors, although they were not multi-tone reflective.

I went into Sally's last week to replace my Princess Pink Glitter & was completely shocked at what I found. Not only was the color completely different than my previous one (from a dark hot pink to a light baby pink, & yes it had the same name), the size was almost triple what it was before. This means that you can not practically use it for around your eyes. Cosmetic safe glitter for use on the eyes or lips mush be smaller then 0.006 for it to be deemed safe. This is now probably 0.008-0.010, meaning that it is unsafe for use around the eyes or mouth.

I am very disappointed in these new changes. I will be on the hunt for a new glitter & will keep you girls informed on what I find.

If you have any suggestions, let me know!
